Tour
The drive from town to the South takes about an hour. On your
way you may wish to explore Jozani Forest and capture a
glimpse of the rare but famous Red Colobus Monkeys. In the
south of Zanzibar, the Kizimkazi fishing village is the home
of several schools of the bottle-nosed dolphins. From the
village, you are taken by boat out into the sea to view these
friendly dolphins and if you are lucky, you may be able to
swim quite close to them as they are very friendly and
playful. Kizimkazi is also the site of a 12th Century Mosque,
the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa."
