Aim 4 Africa’s wedding and honeymoon itineraries are all tailor-made to ensure your specific requirements and preferences are catered for.  We organise exclusive programs to suit individual requirements and preferences, based on our extensive knowledge and first-hand experience, and with meticulous planning and close attention to detail.

Over the last decade we have arranged weddings and honeymoons to hundreds of couples at the heart of Africa.

Aim 4 Africa is one of the only companies whose founders actually originate from East Africa – the countries of Kenya and Tanzania are and will always be home to us, and as such we know we are better placed than most high street travel agents or other on-line honeymoon specialists to organise such special occasions as your Wedding or Honeymoon at the Heart of Africa  - the ideal place to begin your married lives together.

We are certain that our knowledge and experience and affiliation with East Africa, the place of our birth, will provide you with the opportunity to create a wedding and honeymoon that will stand out from anything else offered anywhere else.

There are many countries where you can go on a safari these days, and many beautiful well-publicised beaches from the Caribbean to the Maldives. However none of these countries are as unique as to be able to offer the best of both and more . . .

You may not know it yet,

but East Africa is the land of dreams -

The birthplace of mankind,

A land where vast unspoilt landscapes have stood the test of time – millions of wildlife roaming free much as they have for centuries.

A land where time has no beginning and no end

Where bright blue skies meet azure blue seas, a land of endless horizons and varying landscapes

A land where time has stood still

Where better than to celebrate your union then a land such as this?

Your 2-week-or-more honeymoon could begin with a visit to world renown parks such as the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, explore the unspoilt natural surroundings and admire a wide range of wildlife roaming free…

Then head for the romantic Spice Isles of Zanzibar and Pemba and be thoroughly captivated by white pristine beaches lapped up by warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean

This is the Real Africa where you can relax and enjoy fresh air with fresh, delicious food and a warm welcome from the friendly peoples of East Africa

Aim 4 Africa Ltd will help design and plan a program to suit your particular interests and requirements and budgets.

Small, intimate wedding ceremonies can be organised on Safari or the beautiful East African coast.

We have had couples who have opted for “Maasai style” ceremonies to the private sandbank wedding in Zanzibar. Then again there are couples who have exchanged vows in the heart of the Serengeti then celebrated with a hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne bush breakfast with hundreds of wildlife as curious “guests”!

Just tell us what you would like and we will help make Your Dream Come True

Together we will do our best to ensure you have a Dream Wedding and a Most Memorable Honeymoon - the best possible start to married life

Why Opt for a Wedding or Honeymoon in East Africa?

People choose this special part of Africa for a number of reasons – the ease in combining a once-in-a-lifetime holiday with a momentous occasion – a safari at the heart of Africa followed by the most idyllic beaches and coral reefs in the Indian Ocean.  Other than this, the heart of Africa offers a wide range of opportunities for couples wanting something “out of the ordinary” – from trekking up Kilimanjaro as a lifelong ambition to the serene, isolated forests in the western part of East Africa where one can track chimpanzees or the endangered mountain gorillas.

Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi have some of the most prestigious, luxurious and exclusive safari lodges (treetop Lodges, luxurious tented camps) and some of the most beautiful, romantic beach hotels many with private beaches. If you want more privacy, you can even head for your own private beach resort on one of the many small islets in the Zanzibar archipelago or an exclusive "room" in the middle of Lake Malawi!

There is only a 2 hour time difference (3 hours during UK wintertime) – which means one can fly overnight from the UK and most parts of Europe, and be on safari or the beach the next morning!

We think however that the most attractive reason people should choose East Africa is that this region is the “Home of the Safari” – the Very Heart of Africa has everything this great continent is famous for – from towering mountain peaks to vast savannah plains and on to the fabulous coastline with palm fringed sandy beaches lapped by turquoise blue waters.

For many people a safari is truly the holiday of a lifetime – unlike short haul holidays in Europe, East Africa offers something special, a timeless, ageless, wide-ranging special destination unlike none other in the world.

Your Wedding is the most important day in your lifetime. A honeymoon is also the holiday of a lifetime – truly unique and memorable.

No wonder then that a Wedding and Honeymoon at the very Heart of Africa would be a match made in Heaven !!

Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania are known for the best safari circuits in Africa –including the Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.  Southern Tanzania, Northern Kenya, Malawi and Uganda are perfect for return visitors to the Heart of Africa, or for those of us who are willing to sacrifice the unbelievable numbers of wildlife in the more famous parks for the privacy, exclusivity and vast expanses of game reserves of the Selous, Ruaha, Katavi (Southern Tanzania), Kibale, Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Parks (Uganda) or the tranquil highlands of Malawi. Western Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda are also home to the most endangered primates (chimpanzees and mountain gorillas) and the montane forests are virtually unspoilt, free from commercialisation and the ideal romantic hideaway for the couple looking for something both unique and special. We have had couples who claim this was the highlight of their honeymoon. Then again you also have the grand finale the ultimate relaxation and the feeling of being in paradise for that is what the Zanzibar archipelago and beaches of Mombasa, Saadani and Dar es Salaam (the Swahili Coast) are all about. The Indian Ocean islands of Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia have some of the best beaches and the most fabulous coral reefs in the world.

Types of Weddings and Venues

We have organised different styles of weddings for many couples. It all depends on what the two of you like and what your interests are. Do you want a small or a big wedding, a wedding on safari, on an exotic private beach, or a traditional Maasai-style wedding?

You may wish to get married on your own - just the two of you, or witnessed by friends and family.

What you've got to bear in mind is that East African weddings cost a fraction of a small wedding in the United Kingdom and other countries abroad - so you can afford to take your parents and friends and all have the holiday of a lifetime!

Here are some ideas of venues where we can arrange for you to get married:

Safari Wedding:

Serengeti, Laikipia, Samburu, Maasai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater, Malawi

Maasai Style Wedding:

Laikipia, Arusha, Lake Manyara and The Great Rift Valley

Beach & Coastal Wedding (Zanzibar and Mombasa):

Beach Wedding in Resorts (Breezes, Blue Bay, Ocean Paradise, Zamani Kempinski, Serena Beach Hotel & Spa)

Private Beach Wedding

Sandbank Wedding (on your own private island)

Historic Ruins in Zanzibar (Mbweni Ruins or Mtoni Palace Ruins)

On board a Traditional Sailing Dhow

Contact us for details or further information on any of the above weddings

P.S: We stop short of a wedding ceremony on Kilimanjaro (we haven't yet found a willing enough minister to trek nearly 6km up to the Roof of Africa!)
