GET ON YOUR BIKE WITH A CYCLING SAFARI
If you want to discover some of the most diverse and spectacular landscapes in Tanzania, one of the best ways to do this is to take a cycling safari. Whether you want a gentle cycle around the foothills of Mt. Meru or a more strenuous cycle lasting several days, Aim 4 Africa can organise something to suit.
Cycle rides can be in the morning or evening, up to 3 hours or for the more seasoned cyclist, lasting many days. Whatever you decide, one thing is for sure you can expect to have plenty of interaction with the local area; Maasai herding their crop, the Waarusha tending their banana and coffee plantations all set against the panoramic vista of elephants, giraffe and buffalo in their natural habitat, with the vast plains of the Serengeti and Maasai Mara in full view.
With its natural beauty and undulating landscape, the great beauty of a bicycle is that you get to enjoy the fresh air and the outstanding wildlife and beauty of Tanzania close up. At Aim 4 Africa safari rides of varying length are catered for to ensure that the tour matches not only fitness but exactly what the traveller wants to see. And at the end of a day of hard cycling there is simply nothing more rewarding than hanging up your bike and sitting around a camp fire, enjoying a few drinks and some entertainment, whilst reflecting upon the days wonderful experiences.
Aim 4 Africa offers a wide selection of itineraries for different budgets and fitness levels, and these include:
Half Day Rift Valley Mountain Biking (Manyara)
This is suitable for people of different ages from 8 years upwards (child bikes and helmets provided) however we require plenty of notice as these are popular excursions and if you are keen to include this as part of your main Northern Safari program then we would need to know at the time of booking.
