Why East Africa?
This area, at the very heart of Africa is uniquely placed in that if offers the ease in combining first class safari with the most idyllic beaches. The minimum time difference between Europe and East Africa (about 2-3 hours difference) and the fact that one can fly overnight and be on safari or the beach the next morning is a plus. Apart from that, East Africa offers a wide range of uniquely placed, high quality accommodation in some of the most pristine and remote wilderness locations and beaches in Africa.
However one of the main reasons that many people choose to spend their honeymoon in East Africa is that the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda really do have something to offer everyone. Tanzania itself, the largest of the East African countries, has vastly unique ecosystems - from the more famous parks in the north - the Serengeti plains, Ngorongoro Crater highlands and Kilimanjaro, to the vast open spaces of southern Tanzania - the Selous and Ruaha, the montane forests of Western Tanzania with Mahale and Gombe Stream, and of course the truly unique coast with the mainland and Zanzibar archipelago. Kenya has unique landscapes from them more famous lush southern parks - the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru, to the central highlands with Mt Kenya and the Aberdare Ranges, and then there is the more arid but rustically beautiful north - the Samburu and further north to the deserts around Marsabil and Sibiloi. Uganda known as the Pearl of Africa, is green, lush and unspoilt with many beautiful parks and also the source of the Nile. Uganda and Rwanda offer refuge to some of the world's most endangered primates notably the mountain gorilla as well as the shoebill stork and other species. The Zanzibar archipelago offers the best diving spots in the world and is home to many endangered species like the bottlenose dolphins, dugong and whale sharks.

We do this by putting together itineraries to suit couples - whether it is a week on safari followed by a week on the beach, or a gorilla or chimpanzee tracking adventure followed by a trek up Kilimanjaro and then relaxing on the beach - the combinations are endless and the experience as unique as you are.
